03- Sr. Data Analyst

Shift:5pm – 2 am PHT
Salary:60,000-70,000 PHP
Responsibilities

• Work closely with management to understand and maintain focus on their
• analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionably
• insights to relevant decision-makers
• Create dashboards, queries, data models, and reports, using SQL and BI
• software like Metabase
• Analyze user data from spreadsheets, SQL databases, CRM data, and other
• sources, to create user personas and segmentation
• Develop automation for merging user data from various services
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself,
• with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and
• communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation
• and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an
• an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology
• stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
• Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary
• sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more
• flexible or scalable across datasets
• Remove corrupted data and help towards fixing coding errors and related problems
• Develop a data warehouse along ELT/ETL solutions
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations

Required skills and qualifications
• Four or more years of experience as a data analyst
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics,
or statistics
• Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
• Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
• Strong SQL and Excel skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools
• Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
• Excellent documentation skills and desire to explain and teach others
• Experience working remotely, and independently, and being excellent in self-
management
• Passion for learning new skills and software
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Looking for a long-term position

Nice to have skills and qualifications
• Experience working in a SaaS or education company
• Experience with B2B and B2C services
• Experience with Metabase or similar SQL-based BI/data visualization software
• Strong programming experience with frameworks, including JavaScript or
• PHP/Laravel, and ETL
• Experience with Notion and Slack
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
