15 – Sr. Quality Assurance Tester

Salary: USD 1000 – USD 2000 (Depending on the interview result and client’s approval)
Working hours: 8 PM to 4 AM PH Time

As a Sr Quality Assurance tester , you will be responsible for testing our ecommerce products,providing quality oversight and recommendations. You will work cross functionally with Business Leaders, VP of Technology and Architects to build scalable and reliable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? This role reports to the Director of Development
? System and subsystem testing (RESTful services, APIs, Single-Sign On)
? Manual Black Box testing
? Building Automated Tests using tools like Selenium.
? Utilize bug tracking tools and test case management tools (JIRA)
? Communicate status of projects, Customer concerns and escalate issues as needed
? Contributing to Project delivery that is on time, within budget, and with client satisfaction.
? Building Test documentation:
? Traceability matrix
? Test Cases
? Test Plans
? Release criteria
? Contribute to Software development Testing Process, improvements and delivery efficiencies
? Identify areas of innovation and automation and drive progress in these initiatives

Qualifications and experience:
? Ecommerce Product Testing experience a plus
? Experience using Automated test tools, building automated test scripts
? 7+ years of demonstrable software testing experience with a focus on test plan development, metrics, product coverage, and process improvement
? Expert understanding of all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, and regression testing
? Expert knowledge of quality assurance techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced changing environment
? Passion for improving quality
? Detail oriented, reliable and have the ability to work both in a team environment and alone with minimal direction and supervision
? Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables [1]
? Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
? English is the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
