2D Animator / video editor for Youtube

Hey there! Thank you for considering our job post. We are looking for an experienced Video Editor with previous experience working for YouTube channels. We run multiple channels and are starting a new one in the Simple Animated Comedy niche. We will be creating videos on the following topics (initially):

– Why it Sucked to be a Samurai
– 10 OP Animal Abilities
– The Hobbies of Dictators

The video editor will be given a script and a voice over, his/her job will be to create a funny and engaging video using that voice over and by performing the following tasks:

– Draw simple simple stick figure characters in Photoshop or MS Paint that correspond to the script
– Add images / memes
– Add stock footage / viral meme clips
– Add Sound FX
– Add transitions and titles
– Among other tasks

To get a better understanding of the type of video you will need to make, here are some examples that show what we are looking for:

Having advanced English or being bilingual is a MUST, as well as being creative and use that creativity to visually add humor to a video.

You also need to be resourceful since this job requires you to find online content that will help your video be more engaging to keep the viewer entertained.

Some of the requirements to apply:
– use photoshop to create funny stick figure images
– Advanced video editing skills
– Previous experience working for YouTube channels (faceless channels preferred)
– Have access to Storyblocks or similar for stock images and clips.
– Creativity to enhance the video by making the script come to life (use of Sound FX, transitions, change in pacing, etc)
– understand American pop culture and memes
