Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and imaginative 2D Illustrator to create captivating and vibrant illustrations for a children’s book. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create engaging characters and scenes that appeal to young readers. This is a freelance/contract position with flexible hours, perfect for creative professionals looking to contribute to a meaningful project.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate closely with the author and publishing team to understand the story, characters, and vision for the book.
– Create original, high-quality 2D illustrations that capture the essence of the story and engage young readers.
– Develop character designs, backgrounds, and other visual elements based on the book’s themes and target audience.
– Ensure all illustrations are consistent with the overall style and tone of the book.
– Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to illustrations in a timely manner.
– Prepare final illustrations in a format suitable for print and digital publication.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a 2D Illustrator, preferably with a focus on children’s books or related projects.
– Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character design, scene composition, and storytelling through illustrations.
– Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the author and publishing team.
– Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
– A passion for children’s literature and an understanding of what appeals to young readers.

We Offer:
20,000 – 25,000 PHP based on Skill Level and Experience
