JOB PURPOSE
The Equipment Drafting Engineer will support the Engineering and Sales teams on equipment selection, design, drawings, and submittals documentation. They will be responsible to provide the required documentation to support the pre-sales and after-sales efforts of Chemstar WATER’s team. The successful candidate will provide engineering and documentation support to Chemstar WATER’s team. 2D/3D CAD drawing generations based on inputs from the Engineering and/or Sales team.
TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES
– Ability to review and understand the scope of work for each project.
– 2D/3D CAD drawing generations based on inputs from the Engineering and/or Sales team.
– P&ID and submittals documentation for the equipment sold/supplied by Chemstar WATER.
– Support MS Office documentation like Word & Excel (with macros).
– Support PDF documentation creation.
– Create, populate, and maintain submittal documentation packages for quick access
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
– Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Automation) or equivalent Technical Degree
– (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation & Controls) + 2-years experience
– Experience working in water treatment, oil & gas, any industrial heating or cooling, or anything related to industrial piping is required
– Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk
– Ability to understand, read, and create p&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) is required
– Strong proficiency in creating PDF using software like Adobe and the like is required
– Strong understanding of enterprise computer systems including Office suite & ERP
– Good written, verbal, & math skills
– Strong abilities to navigate ambiguous problems and proven abilities to innovate

– At least 6 hour overlap with Eastern Standard US time
PC Requirements:
– Workstation with i7/i9 Gen 12 or equivalent CPU
– RTX 3000/4000 or Radeon Pro series minimum. Quadro series preferred.
– At least 60 MBPS Internet Speed
