Our company, Velvet Caviar designs and sells fashionable tech accessory products online, totaling over 2,000 SKUs across many color and size variations. We are looking for an experienced 3D Artist with an eye for design and aesthetics to create stunning and photorealistic renderings.
To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player. Ultimately, a top-notch 3D artist is creative and artistic with a solid working knowledge of color, texture, light, and industry-standard software.
Responsibilities:
– Create detailed, complex, realistic materials and textures to be rendered at 8k
– Fine-tune the lighting on every device to showcase the form, color, and texture in accordance with the established brand style
– Introduce efficiencies to streamline the product render process
– Deliver multiple assets for every device, including high-res stills, turntables, and production-ready 3D models to create all listing page product renders
– Perform other ad hoc tasks relevant to the job
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of Product 3D Rendering & Animation for Photo (proficiency in video rendering is a plus).
– Degree in Architecture/Design/Arts, or other equivalent courses.
– Proficient in different product rendering software.
– Exceptional visual and verbal presentation skills.
– Proactive and highly motivated. Ability to work with a sense of urgency under limited supervision and effectively manage competing priorities.
– Good listening and excellent oral and written communication skills are also required. Must be able to interact with various levels within the organization.
– Can work remotely on flexible hours but should sometimes be available between 9 am to 12nn EST for team communication and work discussion.
