About The Position:
Custom Cones USA is seeking a full-time 3D designer with at least 2 years of experience specializing in 3D Modeling and Texturing. Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional mastery of 3D Design and also have the ability to multitask under pressure with an emphasis on packaging. Must have expert level skills in working with print-ready designs using dieline templates. You will be working alongside our design team, as well as any other department that may need your assistance from sales to customer service.
Duties:
– Create 3D renders of customer designs on our products using existing 3D template files and occasionally modeling new ones from scratch using dieline measurements
– Ensure 3D texturing accurately reflects what finished products would look like
– Maintain organized library of render examples and 3D Files
– May occasionally create 3D assets to use in videos
– Check quality of artwork to ensure it is print-ready
– Ability to work the same hours we work during the day
Qualifications:
– Professional experience with 3D modeling and texturing
– Experience using modeling software, such as Maya, Blender, or 3DS Max (we use Blender)
– Ability and drive to learn
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
– Experience working with packaging
– Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a closely integrated team structure
– Outstanding eye for detail, visual hierarchy, composition, and color theory
Bonus Qualifications:
– Working understanding and expertise of Adobe Creative Cloud graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
– Graphic Design experience
– Knowledge of special print finishes
– 3D animation experience
