3D Artist for Realistic Product Renders of Pickleball Paddles with Outdoor and Action Scenes

Job Description:
We are a startup DTC e-commerce brand specializing in unique pickleball paddles. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled 3D artist to create realistic product renders for our product pages, website, social media, email campaigns, and more.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 3D rendering techniques, a keen eye for detail, and experience creating outdoor and action scenes featuring sports equipment and human characters.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the founder to understand the creative direction and specific requirements for each render, including outdoor settings and action shots with human characters
• Create high-quality 3D models of our pickleball paddles, incorporating accurate textures and materials to achieve a realistic appearance
• Develop 3D scenes and compositions based on the provided photo prompts, incorporating the paddle models and other required elements (e.g., props, environments, accessories, human characters)
• Set up custom lighting, camera angles, and render settings to achieve the desired look and feel for each image
• Optimize and fine-tune materials, textures, and lighting to ensure the highest level of realism and visual appeal
• Render images at high resolution for use in various marketing materials and platforms
• Revise and iterate on renders based on feedback from our team, making adjustments as needed
• Maintain open communication with our team, providing updates on progress and any challenges encountered

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a 3D artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing realistic product renders, outdoor scenes, and action shots with human characters (experience with sports equipment is a plus)
• Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, using industry-standard software (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D)
• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with our team
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve as needed
• Interest and knowledgeable about pickleball
