3D CAD Designer

Our facility concepts, designs, and custom fabricate imaginary ideas from clients all over the globe. We are looking for passionate and energetic people excited about unique creations, high-quality designs, and even custom manufacturing!

We are looking for a CAD designer to join our Designing team. We are a team of highly energetic and artistic individuals supporting our manufacturing facilities in areas including account management, foam sculpting, painting, and other fabrications. Our Design Team is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere, on your own schedule. Working through our Design Team, you will have the opportunity to be part of an awesome manufacturing company, interact with great projects, and see your renderings come to life. As the team grows, there will be ample opportunity for specialization and growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Receive concept art from the Design Team and begin to design and break down the concept into presentable CAD renderings for our bid process.
Translate approved renderings into bite-sized elements for the Production Team to put into action.
Various CAD designs per project (could be outlining a haunted house floor plan, modeling a prop for sculpting, or breaking down a structural build)

Skills you should have:

Preferred familiarity with Sketchup and/or Z Brush and/or Solidworks.
Experience with Vcarve is a plus.
Experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
Collaborative and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.
Ability to advise through CAD designs on the best approach to assist the Production Team on how the product should come together.
