3D CAD Drafter Architect

As a Part-Time 3D CAD Architect Drafter and Designer, you will be responsible for transforming architectural concepts and ideas into detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Your work will play a crucial role in shaping our clients’ visions and will contribute to the successful completion of various projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, be proficient in industry-standard software, and demonstrate an understanding of architectural principles.

* Create 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings based on architectural plans, sketches, and concepts provided by senior architects or project leads.
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the 3D models accurately represent the design intent and meet project requirements.
* Generate accurate and comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural drawings.
* Conduct regular reviews and updates of 3D models and drawings to reflect design changes and feedback.
* Utilize 3D rendering software to create realistic visualizations of architectural designs for client presentations.
* Assist in material selection and specification to ensure feasibility and compliance with project budgets and codes.
* Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work within given timeframes.
* Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and software to improve design efficiency and quality.
[Requirements]
* Proven experience as a 3D CAD Architect Drafter and Designer or related role within the architectural field.
* Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.) and experience in creating detailed technical drawings.
* Solid understanding of architectural principles, building systems, and construction methods.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex designs and drawings.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the design team and project stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks to meet deadlines.
* A portfolio showcasing previous architectural projects and 3D modeling work is highly advantageous.
* Flexibility to work on a part-time or project-based schedule, with the potential for increased involvement based on project demands.
