Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and imaginative 3D Environment Artist to join our creative team. As a 3D Environment Artist, you will play a crucial role in designing and creating immersive and visually stunning environments tailored to our projects. We specialize in developing games in the style of isometric Action Role-Playing Games (ARPG) and Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas (MOBA).

Responsibilities:
– Design and create captivating 3D environments that align with the aesthetic and gameplay requirements of our isometric ARPG and MOBA games.
– Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and developers to conceptualize, iterate, and refine environment designs that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
– Utilize your artistic skills and technical expertise to model, texture, and light environments, ensuring optimal performance and visual fidelity across various platforms.
– Incorporate environmental storytelling elements, such as props, set pieces, and atmospheric effects, to enrich the player experience and create memorable game worlds.
– Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to 3D environment art, and contribute innovative ideas to push the visual quality and artistic vision of our games.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a 3D Environment Artist in game development, animation, or related industry.
– Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) and texturing tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Quixel Mixer) to create high-quality environmental assets.
– Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling principles to craft compelling and immersive environments.
– Experience with isometric game development pipelines and techniques, including tile-based level design, sprite rendering, and camera perspectives.
– Ability to create high-quality textures and materials using industry-standard software such as Substance Painter or Photoshop.
Experience with lighting and rendering techniques to achieve realistic or stylized visual effects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive and creative work environment.

Bonus Skills:
– Knowledge of Unity, animation systems, and asset integration.
– Familiarity with photogrammetry or other scanning techniques for environment creation.
– Passion for gaming and a keen interest in isometric ARPG and MOBA genres, with a desire to contribute to the success of our projects through your artistic vision and craftsmanship.
