Key Responsibilities:
As a 3PL Bookings Expert, you will be a pivotal link in our logistics chain, responsible for managing and orchestrating bookings with precision. Your role will encompass:

1. Receiving and processing 3PL booking requests from clients, carriers, and internal teams.
2. Collaborating closely with carriers and vendors to secure appropriate transportation resources based on client needs and shipment specifications.
3. Utilizing advanced logistics management software to schedule, track, and manage bookings effectively.
4. Ensuring accurate and timely data entry of booking details, such as shipment type, quantity, and delivery requirements.
5. Coordinating with warehouse teams to align storage space availability with incoming and outgoing shipments.
6. Maintaining proactive communication with clients, providing real-time updates on booking status, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
7. Resolving booking conflicts, addressing last-minute changes, and troubleshooting logistics issues to ensure smooth operations.
8. Analysing booking data and generating reports to monitor booking trends, utilization rates, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
2. Demonstrated expertise in third-party logistics (3PL) operations and booking coordination.
3. Proficiency in using logistics management software, transportation management systems (TMS), and related tools.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-centric approach.
6. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.
7. Collaborative team player with the capacity to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
