As we continue to make waves and approach an exciting milestone of 2000 subscribers, we’re on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Video Editor. This role is pivotal in turning our meticulously researched scripts and voice-over commentaries into visually compelling content that educates, informs, and captures the attention of our audience. Attention to detail is a must, please open your application with your favourite colour.

Role Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with our History Researcher and Script Writer to understand the essence and tone of each piece of content.
– Edit and piece together voice-overs, graphics, animations, and other visual elements to craft engaging and coherent videos.
– Enhance video content with sound effects, music, and other audio elements to complement and elevate the narrative.
– Ensure the content aligns with the branding and aesthetic values of our channel.
– Regularly produce and finalize video content to maintain a dynamic and fresh channel presence.
– Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and trends

What We’re Looking For:

– Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
– Proficiency in video editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
– An eye for detail, ensuring every video is polished and free from errors or inconsistencies.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
– A collaborative spirit, ready to work hand-in-hand with other team members.
– An appreciation or understanding of history would be a plus.
