Job Description
A/R Bookkeepers oversee a company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, setting up new clients in Quickbooks, and record payments and adjustments.

Additionally, many bookkeepers also assist with basic HR duties like new hire documents, compliance, and filing.
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting
transactions; ensuring legal requirements compliance
Maintain historical records by filing documents
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account
information and trends
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Developing systems to ensure all A/R is set-up properly for recurring and one off invoicing, total amounts are collected each month and manage missed payments due to payment failure.
Utilizing Excel and Google Sheets to maintain reporting and records
Use of Project management software to stay organized and on time
Reviewing subscriptions monthly compared to the P & L and eliminating any which are no longer being used or needed.
Process accounts receivable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO

BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Advanced accounting knowledge
Proven bookkeeping experience
Advanced level of understanding of accounting best practices
Data entry skills

Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other applications
