Job Description:
As the account manager responsible for managing the scheduling and posting of content for all our clients on their social media platforms. With an average of 20-30 clients, the role requires meticulous attention to detail and efficient management of social media tools. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the content, static posts, and short-form videos, are consistently published according to the agreed cadence for each client.
Requirements:
– Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients’ inquiries regarding posting, maintaining responsiveness and clarity in communication, especially for verification codes or account access. For example: Immediate client and internal slack and email responses,
Assisting clients where necessary to achieve role objectives and otherwise. And, communicating with clients when other team members are unavailable.
– Efficient Use of Social Media Tools: Effectively utilize scheduling tools within platforms to plan and schedule short-form videos and static posts in advance. Ensure accurate entry of captions and hashtags based on information provided in ClickUp/Asana. Manually post content when required.
– Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential challenges in content scheduling and posting. Ensuring posts go out, period. Figuring out solutions where necessary to make this happen (Google, Youtube, Peers, Manager, etc).
– Adherence to Posting Cadence: Maintain a consistent posting schedule for each client, coordinating with the team for timely adjustments based on content strategies and client preferences. Ensuring all posts go out on all the required platforms.
– Quality Audit: Conduct a quick quality review of the content, captions, and hashtags at the time of posting. Any typos or discrepancies identified should be immediately escalated to the team for correction before the content goes live. Ensuring correct posts, captions, and spelling and grammar is correct for the correct account.
– Deadline Adherence: Prioritize and manage tasks effectively besides posting to meet deadlines consistently. Communicate any potential problems or challenges in a timely manner, seeking assistance when needed.
– Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with team members, sharing insights, coordinating content strategies, and contributing to the overall success of our function.
– Continuous Learning: Stay updated on social media platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry trends. Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills.
