Role Summary:
As a Remote Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison between our clients and our in-house team, responsible for managing website change requests and transforming them into precise actions. This pivotal role demands a comprehensive understanding of WordPress, web hosting, and basic SEO principles. You will play a crucial role in maintaining client satisfaction, managing tasks in ClickUp, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. This position is 100% remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while being aligned with our team’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing requests for website updates, enhancements, and digital marketing services.
2. Analyze and interpret client requests, effectively converting them into detailed tasks and instructions for the team.
3. Employ ClickUp for creating, managing, and monitoring tasks, ensuring timely project completion and client satisfaction.
4. Foster excellent client relationships through regular updates, reporting, and communication.
5. Work closely with development and SEO teams to ensure website modifications meet best practices and client objectives.
6. Advise clients on improving their website performance and SEO standings.
7. Remain current with trends in WordPress, web hosting, and digital marketing to continually offer valuable solutions.
8. Develop and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), adapting new processes as required.
9. Directly report to the Operations Manager, ensuring streamlined communication and project execution.
10. Utilize tools such as Slack, direct messaging, Loom videos for internal communication, and facilitate interaction across teams.
11. Prepare detailed marketing reports, ensuring data-driven decisions and strategies.
12. Ensure team accountability and adherence to deadlines, delegating tasks and leading individual team members.
13. Attend daily meetings, working within the 10am to 2pm PST (Vancouver, Canada) time zone.
14. Manage and prioritize up to 20-30 tasks or small projects daily, adept at frequent context switching.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in a similar role within a digital marketing agency or related field.
2. Fluent English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
3. Deep knowledge of WordPress, website hosting, and SEO basics.
4. Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
5. Proficiency in task management software, with a preference for ClickUp.
6. Ability to translate client needs into actionable tasks for technical and creative teams.
7. Strong problem-solving capabilities and resilience under pressure.
8. Team player with a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.
