We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to build and grow customer, partner, and vendor relationships to achieve sales revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing business relationships and a drive for achieving professional goals. Applicants should also be proficient in leading meetings, CRM usage, and cyber security concepts. Acmetek is a dynamic small business in a distribution selling environment looking to expand our closeknit team. We are seeking a strategic-minded Account Manager who excels in leveraging client, partner, and vendor relationships to maximize long-term sales strategies. This role is ideal for individuals with a proactive approach to nurturing business relationships and a keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within the cybersecurity industry.

Objectives of this role:
– Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client, prospect, and partner interactions.
– Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to month-over-month growth.
– Build and develop relationships with Acmetek customers, vendors, and partners.
– Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
-Expanding Client Engagement: Aiming to not only meet sales targets but also to innovate in client engagement strategies.
-Ensuring that Acmetek stays at the forefront of client satisfaction and relationship management in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities
– Work with vendor sales teams and business partner teams to work deal opportunities
– Maintain accurate CRM records, keeping track of activities and sales pipeline.
– Handle inquiries and requests from customers by aligning with the appropriate vendor, partner, or support engineer.
– Stay on top of accounts, making sure they are aware of product offerings, renewal deadlines, etc.
– Meet regularly with internal Business Development team members to discuss progress and find new ways to lead generation campaigns.
– Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
– Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the vendor and partner teams regularly.
– Occasional travel to customer meetings, business events, trade shows, etc.
-Encourage a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, fostering an environment where ideas for driving sales and improving customer engagement are shared and implemented, contributing to Acmetek’s mission.

Required skills and qualifications
– Professional experience in a technology sales role, SaaS and/or indirect channel sales preferred.
– Ability to multitask several responsibilities simultaneously.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Robust understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to translate this knowledge into compelling sales strategies, thereby enhancing Acmetek’s position as a leader in technology sales.

Preferred skills and qualifications
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
– Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software
– Previous sales experience in a technology product/services space, SaaS preferred.
– Indirect channel sales experience is a plus.
