JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our company.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal. You’ll be responsible for the recurring weekly and monthly processes for a portfolio of client(s). This role will focus on supportive activities unique to the Construction industry.
You will be the key to ensuring clean client financials by working on a team with others. You will work with a small and growing team of awesome people. We’ll provide extensive training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments
– Vendor Billing Support
– Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
– Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
– Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
– Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
– Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
– Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
– Provide support during audits and tax preparation
QUALIFICATIONS
– QBO Pro Certification
– Helpful disposition – the desire to lighten the load of a Controller
– 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping
– Proficiency with QBO accounting software
– Proficiency with full Google Suite
– Advanced Balance Sheet Experience
– Strong Excel & GSheet skills
– Experience with ClickUp preferred
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Seek to resolve issues and pursue the answers, relentlessly closing the issues.
