We need a full-time Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with relevant departments to create and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
* General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy of transactions and timely recording of financial data.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and prompt collection from customers.
* Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
* Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies. * Coordinate and facilitate external audits when necessary.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, including providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Process Improvement: Continuously assess accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency,
accuracy, and internal controls.
* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for daily operations and long-term financial stability.
* Tax Planning and Compliance: Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax planning and compliance with all tax-related matters.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA qualification is preferred.
* Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and
leadership.
* In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (XERO or QUICKBOOKS) and ERP systems; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, fostering a positive and results-oriented work environment.
* Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ethical conduct and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
* Have understanding of USA/UK/SINGAPORE/AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND Taxation practices and intricacies.

Your monthly salary will be in AUD (competitive salary package for the right candidate).
