We are looking for someone who enjoys recording, analyzing, and maintaining financial accounts and can work efficiently and effectively to perform consistent results ensuring stability in cash flow and accounting procedures.
The ideal candidate should have an innate drive to deliver above and beyond with the intent to further deliver value by advancing company goals and enhancing methods and procedures where possible.
Positive and proactive, the candidate is attentive to detail and due dates, trustworthy, and has good oral and written communication skills. Ability to stay in control of accounting matters a must.
Primary Goal – Provide accurate and timely bookkeeping and accounting support to support company growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
Enter financial information into QBO, and check for accuracy.
Manage Accounts Receivables including invoicing, weekly reporting and collections.
Manage Accounts Payable including recurring, vendor, and contractor payables, and the organization and reporting of such.
Responsible for gathering and filing all related statements and other information required to fulfill the role.
Prepare Payroll twice a month in a payroll processing company.
Create new estimates and invoice templates based on specific requirements.
Ability to understand, create systems, and keep track of hours worked and project budgets through multiple phases on projects.
Create reporting for tax purposes.
Document filing in accordance with company standards in creating and managing documents.
Manage the creation, implementation, and support for all Accounting policies, processes, and documentation.
This position requires effectively working with the company’s CPA, and others on the team when necessary.
Reporting
Prepare, analyze and maintain financial records.
Generate standard accounting reports for reporting to Owners in a timely manner
Assist in preparing company and project specific reports
Cash Flow Statement and Projections
Project Support
Create Estimates in QBO, and ensure quick delivery to clients via DocuSign.
Create project specific reports such as budgets, timesheet reporting, and others as needed.
Results
We follow our Accounting Framework and meet all of the milestones on a monthly and annual basis.
Our Accounting is up-to-date and accurate, with items correctly categorized.
Accounting reports provide accurate information for CEO’s decision-making.
We have excellent relationships with Client’s Accounting Receivables and Payables POC.
We have an updated and current document on all of the company’s Finance systems and processes.
We have a smooth cash flow, supporting company growth and future milestones.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QBO certification preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum five (5) years experience in a similar accounting role.
Highly developed self-awareness and leadership skills.
High-level communication skills. Must be able to work remotely, and deliver results.
Ability to set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them.
A solid understanding of how to use and create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
A quiet home work environment, including:
A computer and high-speed internet.
Excellent English, speaking and writing skills.
This is a Part-time position, estimated at 20 hrs per week.
