In this vital role, we’re hiring an experienced Accountant for a leading Pilates franchise. You’ll maintain precise financial records and provide key financial insights and analysis. Reporting to senior management, you’ll manage bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll, tax, compliance, and financial modeling for the US market.
Your duties include accurate bookkeeping, month-end closings, financial statement preparation, and tax filings, ensuring efficiency and GAAP compliance.

AS AN ACCOUNTANT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
It should be expected that your responsibilities will grow and expand over time:
– Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and relevance to business needs, in compliance with GAAP standards.
– Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Assist with financial modeling and conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, including monthly/quarterly budget to actuals analysis.
– Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
– Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices for different segments of the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
– Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies in billing, payments, and invoices.
– Collections: Manage the collections process, ensuring timely follow-up with franchisees on outstanding payments.
– Month-End Close: Establish, streamline, and improve the month-end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
– Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax and licensing regulations, including sales tax, and work closely with external firms to manage tax filings and other compliance-related matters.
– Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
– Software Proficiency: Utilize Xero, Rippling, and other commonly used financial software for business management.
– Payroll Management: Support payroll processes managed through Rippling, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for employees.
– Critical Thinking: Use independent and critical thinking to solve complex financial challenges and contribute to strategic decision-making.
– Team Collaboration: Report to the senior management team, working under their direction, while collaborating effectively with multiple teams, including Sales and Franchise Management, to resolve billing issues and improve franchisee relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Highly Ethical: Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards in all financial practices.
– Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
– Proven Experience: Experience as a CPA with a solid background in financial reporting and analysis.
– Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and Xero/QBO is required.
– GAAP Compliance: Experience with multi-site locations and franchising.
– Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
– Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is strongly preferred.
– Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, independence, and strong problem-solving abilities.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE?
– Must provide own device for training and development
– Minimum RAM: 8GB, 16GB recommended
– Laptop: 8th gen Core i5 or better/AMD Ryzen series
– Desktop: Ryzen 5 3000 series and above/10th gen Core i3 or higher
– Mac: 2017 Core i5 or higher/2016 Core i7 or higher (Core i3 not recommended)
– Must have suitable work-from-home space in Philippines
– 10 Mbps minimum internet connection
– Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
– Willing to work full-time (40+ hrs/week) from 9-5 CST
– Experience with remote/virtual work preferred but not required
– Positive attitude and ability to take initiative

– $2,300 per month (Paid Weekly)
