ACCOUNTANT (PERMANENT WORK FROM HOME POSITION)

Roadworx Fiji Pte Ltd, a leading Heavy Equipment Hire in Fiji & Quarry 1 Pte Ltd, known for quality sand and stone produce, is now seeking for a responsible, energetic and great communicator to join our team as an Accountant. We have a growing team of people in the Philippines who are working remotely to support the operations.
This role is for a position that begins early and finishes early in line with Fiji times, working 8am to 5pm Fiji time and occasional weekends. Currently, this would mean a 4am start in Manila.
We utilise MYOB Accountright as our bookkeeping software.

Your role will include but not limited to:
• Oversee Accounts Payable uploaded in Ezzybills
• Weekly checking of Payroll (Timekeeping to payout)
• Processing Accounts Receivables and chasing for payments
• Reconciliation of accounts on MYOB & Balancing the till and cash transactions
• Maintaining all ledgers – including vehicle maintenance costs, fuel usages etc.
• Maintain asset and liabilities accounts and ensure balance sheet and P&L is accurate each week
• Prompt communication and responses to email, text and phone communication
• Undertake detailed analysis and preparation of outlined reports in a timely manner
• Undertake adhoc tasks and processing of documents as requested by Management personnel
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual lodgements for compliance with local authorities in Fiji in a timely manner

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Attention to detail and highly energetic
• Ability to use Microsoft applications
• Have a “Can-do” attitude, highly resourceful, organised, attentive, reliable
• High level of responsibility and problem solving ability taking a Supervisory role
• Stable internet connection, quiet environment and good IT hardware to work from Home
