Accountant, Australian Tax Accountant for Accounting Firm

Must Have:
Australian Tax accounting Knowledge
Demonstrate and show you have worked with Australian Tax accounting.
Working knowledge of accounting software – Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks.
College university graduate
Good reliable internet connection with backup.
Good English writing and talking skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Preferable:
To have your CPA

Job description:
Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts
Preparation of statutory obligation, e.g. sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts
Good understanding of income tax, payroll tax and lodging obligations on behalf of clients
Working with team members to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe
Demonstrate and show you have worked with Australian Tax accounting.
Demonstrate you have BAS experience.
invoice management, collections, payments, PO verifications)
Research and resolve discrepancies.
Vendor and supplier payments
Customer receivables
Payroll
Reconciliations (bank accounts, cash accounts and credit cards)
Vendor relations, communications, and negotiations
Production of P&L, general ledger and budgeting reports.
Super high attention to detail
Experience working with Australian Companies
Experience and accurately complete and prepare complete lodging BAS/GST/IAS
Accurately complete financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF’s as required.
General admin work

Salary starts to be negotiated.
Pay rises will be given for demonstrated performance.
13-month pay.
