JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting tasks with precision and expertise, focusing on perfecting monthly bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
You will work with a small and growing team of awesome people. We’ll provide extensive training where you need it.
Main Responsibilities:
– Understanding a client’s business
– Reviewing and analyzing the financials for accuracy; resolving errors
– Importing activity into Quickbooks and Xero
– Categorizing bank activity within Quickbooks / Xero accounting programs
– Completing bank reconciliations in both Quickbooks and Xero
– Identify errors (duplicate or missing transactions, uncleared bank transactions) and fix
– Creating open items for clients for any missing activity or question on transactions
– Closing books at month end
– Managing and updating bookkeeping task by client
– Tracking our projects and follow up for missing info
– Data Entry
We primarily work with Quickbooks Online and Xero.

PAY
Based on ability and experience, ranging from $1300-1500 per month, for this full-time role.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
– Honest
– Reliable
– Confidentiality
– Fluent in English
– 3+ years of recent accounting / bookkeeping experience in a US public accounting firm.
– Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
– Proficiency with Xero Accounting
– Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting
Preferred (Nice to Have):
– CPA
– Quickbooks Online Proadvisor
– Xero Certified
– Experience with the US healthcare businesses
– Software Experience- Karbon, Loom, Smartvault, Gusto
CONDITIONAL DETAILS
*REQUIRED – Internet: Fast, stable connection
Work Environment: Be able to work privately (you’re accessing confidential financial information) during work hours.
WORKING HOURS
Full time position – At least 5 hours of overlap with Eastern Time Zone (7am – 12pm EST)
Part time is also available for the right person. We would require 5 hours per day 4-5 days per week that would overlap with EST time.
