The Details
Location:
Remote, work from home.
Job Type:
Full-time 40 hours per week.
Salary:
80,000 – 90,000 PHP per month.
Hours (in Philippine Time): Client is based in Europe
Semi-Flexible with at least 4 hours overlap with Amsterdam
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
– Compile Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
– Consolidation of Accounts: Combine multiple entities or departments’ financial data for unified reporting.
– Tax Preparation: Calculate tax liabilities and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
– Budget Planning: Collaborate with management to create annual budgets and forecast future financial performance.
Quality Control
– Review & Validation: Conduct reviews of financial statements and reports prepared by junior accountants to ensure accuracy.
– Data Integrity Checks: Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts to safeguard data integrity.
– Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing all necessary documentation and clarification.
Time Management
– Scheduling: Develop and maintain a reporting calendar to ensure timely deliveries of all financial reports.
– Deadline Monitoring: Keep track of all relevant accounting deadlines, including tax submissions, and regulatory filings.
– Prioritization: Coordinate with other departments to establish priority levels for different types of reports.
Compliance & Risk Management
– Regulatory Adherence: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal accounting standards to ensure full compliance.
– Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and recommend appropriate risk management strategies.
Software
– Xero or other accounting software
– Xero Workpapers or other Workpaper packs
– Reporting software
Experience
– External audit experience required (Big 4)
– Minimum three years

Skills, Experience & Requirements
– At least 2-3 years remotely working online for US, Australian, or European clients.
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
– External audit experience required (Big 4)
– At least 2-3 experience as an Accountant or similar role in an accounting firm.
– Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
– Proficiency in XERO accounting software and financial management systems.
– Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
– Experience working from home, remote, and 100% online.
– Excellent time management skills
