Your days will be filled with:
Supporting the accounting activity
Intercompany reconciliations
Manage our loan book across various projects – monitoring interest and capital repayments, producing monthly forecast for repayments.
Reviewing all bank accounts daily – downloading monthly statements for all companies
Raising Sales invoicing and purchase orders through Quickbooks
Manage data entry and reporting of projects through Quickbooks.
Reviewing creditors (lender), producing weekly reports and setting up payments on a weekly basis
Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager/Directors
Produce and continually develop financial management reports and information as required by Senior Management, and all budget holders, helping clearly variances and risks relating to financial accounts.
Support creation of budgets and long-term P&L (profit & loss) forecasts across all business areas
Manage the business cashflow requirements (money a business needs to operate smoothly)
Be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all finance records
Lead the development of project costing and other costing modules for use within planning including support services, trend analysis and risk identification/mitigations.
Assisting re-organisation of our finance data within our shared drive
Centrally manage companies & company house records – creating a register
Work with the accounting team to ensure all documents are provided to them for bookkeeping to be accurate.
Set-up and manage business performance KPI metrics across sales/lettings and other trading areas
Manage utility recharges to landlords
Learn and support activities required for our regular landlord payment runs
Who we are looking for:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
3+ Years in a similar role, preferably in construction, real estate or property management
Experience in MS Office, QuickBooks, Sage
Chartered accounting experience is preferred
Project Management Skills: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Problem-Solving Skills: Identify and resolve issues independently.
Business Savviness: Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Must have experience working from home
Dealt with international clients
