Accountant – Full Time

Company Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full Time Accountant to join our finance team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records through reconciliation and audit processes.

Time: 11:00 am EST – 8:00pm EST

Responsibilities:

-Perform regular reconciliation of financial transactions, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
-Conduct thorough audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
-Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations.
-Utilize your expertise in accounting to assist in financial analysis and budgeting processes as required.
-Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes within the company.
-Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information at all times.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
-Proven work experience as an Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in reconciliation.
-Proficiency in using Xero Software for bookkeeping purposes, with 3-5 years of prior experience working with the software.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
-Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this role.
-Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and management.
