Accountant / Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
The company is a rapidly growing in Australia and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chief Financial Officer/Accountant to lead our financial department. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-oriented professional with a proven track record of managing finances, improving financial processes, and supporting company growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and KPI’s
Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and forecast the company’s budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely financial reports, analysing data for insights and strategic planning.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity and financial stability, accounts receivable and debtors
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax requirements, preparing necessary documentation.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
Team work: Promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
Process Improvement: Optimize financial processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and data accuracy.
**Experience with HR would be an advantage**

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 experience in financial management roles, with a focus on strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and industry trends.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Xero.

Full-time, Work from Home
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Shift, Monday-Friday
Ensures excellent and stable internet connection with a minimum standard of 20 mbps download / 5 mbps upload.
