We have a full-time role open for immediate start (training provided). The hours of work are between 8.30am to 5:00pm on your time zone, Monday to Friday.
TASKS:
Prepare month-end and mid-month property financial reports
Prepare month-end account reconciliations
Supporting the team with statutory reporting and compliance obligations
Assisting in compliance and internal audits
Ownership, creditor statement reviews
Daily receipting and liaising regarding arrears amounts
Maintain and update tenancy schedules with lease terms
Daily bank reconciliation
Invoice entering
Review and process property creditor payments
Liaise with creditors and reconcile creditor statements
Review and raise tenant and owner charges
Daily direct debit upload and receipting
Account troubleshooting
Filing email messages and prioritising
Managing filing system for accounting purposes
Submitting BAS & IAS
Preparation of financial statements for the company
Preparation of income tax returns for the company
Basic bookkeeping
Assisting with rent reviews
Assist with office administration tasks
Meet regularly with the team to discuss any changes or outstanding issues related to trust account operations
Ongoing training and support with continued development as you grow with our company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is desirable
CA or CPA qualification would be an advantage
Previous experience in property trust accounting beneficial
Strong accounting systems and excel/google sheets skills
Knowledge in at least one further Real Estate accounting system, such as PropertyTree, PropertyMe, REST, Console, XERO, and MYOB is highly regarded

We are an Australian-based company. We have a small team and would like a virtual trust accountant/bookkeeper to work closely with our team and general manager. Our systems email, filing and chat systems are web-based, so you’ll be able to communicate easily being remote.
This is a long-term, full-time position in an already digital team! Perfect when you want to be working in the same time zone. We also offer incentive leave of 10 days at regular pay for a vacation or sick leave (once six months of service are rendered) and health insurance benefits up to the value of 1,900php per annum.
