Job Description

We are a well-established Australian tax firm seeking a dedicated and experienced accountant to join our team. If you have a passion for accounting, a commitment to high levels of client service, and the drive to contribute to a growing team, we would love to hear from you.

[Responsibilities]
– Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies with limited supervision or direction.
– Advanced working knowledge of GST, BAS, IAS, Div7A, CGT, FBT, payroll and bookkeeping
– Helping to identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues.
– Performing all compliance and value add work as required to a quality standard.
– Detailed knowledge of tax office correspondence and procedures.
– Displays a detailed understanding of company secretarial matters such as lodgement, fees and general requirements.
– Preparing analysis of client data and transactions and setting up accounts onto the accounting package in accordance with the organisation’s standards.
– Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication.
– Understanding and adhering to client service standards and deadlines.
– Producing quality work with a clear, neat, and logical approach.
– Following checklists and procedures for quality control and accuracy.
– Communicating job priorities with the partner and taking ownership and responsibility of jobs.
– Working independently while knowing when to seek assistance.

[Required Skills & Experience]
– Minimum of 2 years experience of Tax Compliance and Preparation in an Australian tax firm
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent experience.
– Strong preference given to CA/CPA and Certified Xero Advisor
– Proven Software experience with MYOB AE, MS Excel, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right, and Xero.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to produce quality work and manage job priorities effectively.

[Hours of Work, Pay & Benefits]
– Work remotely approximately 20~40 hours per week during AU Business Hours.
– We are looking for an individual to become a member of our tight knit team. We offer attractive packages including annual 13th-month bonus, Paid national PH holidays, annual performance-based salary increment.
