Primary Job Responsibilities:

– Basic bookkeeping entries and accounting for multiple small businesses
– Assist me with month-end close for multiple entities
– Prepare and update financial planning documents, like rolling budgets and actual-to-budget variance reports
– Prepare and update weekly cash updates and cash flow forecast reports
– Prepare and update monthly investment summary reports for a one of my clients
– Prepare and update monthly financial statements for multiple small businesses and add analysis and commentary

Ideally, if an applicant has project management experience, that would add additional value to the work I do. For example:

– Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcome
– Assist in the planning and implementation of projects
– Help coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
– Track and report project progress
– Track and report ongoing weekly and monthly tasks by client

Skills Required:

– English skills should be at a fluent level
– Experience performing accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses
– Experience with accrual accounting
– Experienced at using QuickBooks Online
– Experience preparing reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
– Experience with cost accounting for manufacturing is helpful
– Experience using Google spreadsheets

Hours, Compensation, and Communication:

– 30 hours per week
– Target salary is Php 44,000 per month for 30 hours per week
– Compensation is sent twice monthly, on the 10th and 25th of each month
– My communication style: (a) we’ll need to talk at the end of my day 2-3 times each week, which is about 7 am your time, (b) otherwise, I prefer to use a chat software.
