Job Description

WORK FROM HOME; AM SHIFT
50k – 60k per month
6-month Maternity leave cover; full time; 9AM to 6PM AEST

Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in accounting
? CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
? A minimum of 5-8 years of proven work experience in a multi-national corporation is preferred.
? At least 3 years handing AU clients and 2+ years handling US or UK clients.
? Higher education industry experience is highly desirable, experience with AU and US accounts is required.
? Extensive experience with Xero.
? Exceptional communication and written skills.
? In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
? Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office and with advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
? Exceptional conceptual thinking, resourcefulness, diligence, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
AU (DGBS and Foundation):
• Bank accounts reconciliation
• AR: reconcile TUA and UNE intake student report and send invoices
• AP: Set up supplier card, bill entry (including bank details), staff.
reimbursement, view bank statement, statement reconciliation, process fortnightly payments and handling all supplier enquiries.
• Month-end tasks
• Produce monthly/Quarterly management report.
• Prepare quarterly BAS and monthly IAS
• Process monthly staff payroll and quarterly Super
• Lodge monthly, half-yearly and yearly Payroll tax by each state
• Manage EMDG application process.

UK (DGBS):
• Process fortnightly payments
• Process monthly staff payroll and quarterly Super
• Month-end tasks
• Produce monthly/Quarterly management report.

US (DGBS and KUL):
• Process fortnightly payments
• Process staff payroll in Gusto
• Month-end tasks
• Produce monthly/Quarterly management report.

All three regions: (FY Jan-Dec)
• Inter-company loan accounts reconciliation and on-charge between US and UK (3%) and interest charged.
• General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
• Monthly/Quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and consolidated group reports
• All requests from other managers and CEO
• Ad hoc HR and admin tasks
