Accounting Admin – Dwell West Homes

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven A player who wants to contribute and grow with a real estate investment company in San Diego.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
You will be working with the Dwell West Homes team to manage our banking and financial duties. This is an important hire for us and thus we are being selective. We are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact and comes with previous Quickbooks experience; so please review the job roles and criteria in detail to make sure we will be a good fit for each other before applying. Some responsibilities include:

– Run P&L and Balance Sheet Reports
– Input expenses, deposits and reconcile transactions in Quickbooks
– Set up vendor payment in project management software and bank
– Set up utilities & pay utilities invoices
– Communicate with vendors via email
– Create daily updates in project management software
– Set up document packages
– Request for photos, create tracking of payments and send updates to GCs when needed
– Set up change orders and inquire for status
– Set up weekly inspection dates
– Process bank draw requests
– Request for lien release
– Set due dates for re-inspections including follow up and other requests/reminders
– Update vendor tracker and accounts when needed
– Update final punch walk and send pending items when needed

We are looking for someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to bring in business, do tasks outside their “job description”, and is resourceful. We will be growing, learning, and having fun side by side.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in Quickbooks online
• Experience working during Pacific Standard time operating hours
• Positive attitude and resilience
• High level of detail, organization, and task management
• High level of personal integrity, professionalism and business ethics
• Able to problem solve and make solid independent judgment
• Able and confidence to work independently – including outside a standard office
• Able to prioritize and carry out tasks efficiently and competently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• A pre-employment background check and drug screen may be required

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Sitting for a long period of time, fine manipulation, mouse and keyboard use.

COMPENSATION:
$800
