Job Description

The Accounting Admin at Phoenix Water Solutions will be a key support role within the accounting department, assisting the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. The role involves routine data entry, record management, and the effective use of accounting software to ensure all financial data is correctly captured and processed.
This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in accounting principles. The Accounting Admin is expected to grow and learn continuously, gradually taking on more responsibilities under the guidance of the Accounting Manager. Commitment to the company’s core values, especially learning and staying curious, and taking ownership, is crucial for success in this role.

Outcomes (Within First Six Months):

Accurately complete all assigned data entry tasks within designated timelines.
Ensure financial records are updated and pulled into all relevant software systems routinely.
Demonstrate a 95?curacy rate in financial data entry and record-keeping.
Complete a training program on advanced features of the company’s accounting software.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
Successfully handle a set number of accounting transactions independently.
Show measurable improvement in understanding and applying accounting principles.
Participate in quarterly financial audits, providing accurate data and support.
Receive positive feedback from the Accounting Manager for support and efficiency.
Identify and suggest at least one process improvement in the accounting workflow.
