Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our team as an Accounting and Office Operations Specialist. This role is critical to the efficient functioning of our office and requires strong accounting skills, the ability to handle sensitive financial data, and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll, bank reconciliations, and responding to customer and vendor inquiries. This is a role that will evolve over time, and we are looking for someone who is willing to grow with us.
*Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in maintaining payroll records and compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Bank Reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations to track and reconcile financial transactions.
Investigate discrepancies and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Customer and Vendor Inquiries
Provide professional and timely responses to customer and vendor inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to resolve any financial-related issues.
Ensure customer and vendor satisfaction through effective communication.
Training and Collaboration:
Work closely with the office team to understand and adapt to our office operations.
Receive training and guidance from the current team to perform tasks effectively.
Continuously improve accounting and office operations processes.
Software Proficiency
Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Acumatica for accounting tasks.
Stay updated on software upgrades and changes to maintain accuracy.
*Qualifications:
– Proven experience in accounting, payroll, and office operations.
– Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and familiarity with Acumatica is a plus.
– Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and experience with Windows Pro.
– Preferred experience with dual-monitor setups for efficient accounting tasks.
– Proactive and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
