We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Real Estate Accounting team immediately.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in utilizing accounting software such as QuickBooks, a solid understanding of payment processing systems like , and adeptness with document management platforms such as . Having previous experience with open-to-close (OTC) procedures is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor communication.
2. Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports as needed.
3. Handle payment processing through , ensuring transactions are processed accurately and securely.
4. Manage and organize financial documents using or similar document management platforms.
5. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
6. Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and systems efficiency.
7. Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.
