Job Description

Job Overview:
As a KDG Management Accounting Associate, you will be an essential part of our finance team, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while working remotely. This role involves various accounting tasks, financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization from the comfort of your own space.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts with precision and adherence to deadlines.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.

Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to ensure accurate cash balances.

Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed to support decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate remotely on the budgeting process by providing accurate financial data and assisting in the creation of budgets and forecasts.

Expense Management:
Review and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for optimization.

Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate internal and external audits virtually.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the virtual accounting function.

Qualifications:

’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
experience in accounting or related roles, preferably in a remote work setting.
understanding of accounting principles and practices.
in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
analytical and problem-solving skills.
communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote collaboration.

Additional Information:

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your preferred location.
Willing to work US hours (PST).
