MISSION:
The mission for this role is to ensure money flowing in and out of G+A does so on time and is recorded and processed with 100?curacy.
OUTCOMES:
1. Achieve 100% on-time and accurate processing and recording of all company A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliation transactions by the 15th day of each month.
2. Within 30 days of start date, create a financial dashboard that clearly depicts the company’s financial health via a monthly snapshot. Present it with up to (3) proactive recommendations to improve the company’s financial position and/or health to the CEO.

4. Within 90 days of the start date, create clear, straightforward SOPs for all A/P, A/R, payroll and reconciliation functions and create a calendar and guidelines to review the SOPs annually.
5. Within 180 days of start date, draft requirements for a comprehensive payroll processing system based on current staff structure, identify up to (3) possible systems, review them, present a recommendation to the CEO and implement the system company-wide.
6. By January 31 annually, ensure the company’s books are reconciled and all tax documentation is distributed to all staff. Notify the tax accountant and CEO to proceed with previous year’s tax returns and follow up with an account to ensure returns are processed in a timely manner and before the US tax deadline.

Technical Competencies
1. Advanced in Quickbooks Online, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Email, Chat, Meet, Slides, etc.), WhatsApp
ADP (Or Similar Payroll Processing System)
2. Intermediate in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Virtual Meeting Software (Zoom, etc.)
Requirements + Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree in accounting required; bachelor’s degree preferred
2. Five years of related experience managing A/P, A/R, payroll and reconciliation
3. Demonstrated mastery documenting company accounting processes
4. To seamlessly integrate myriad Google Sheets and/or workbooks to automatically populate, summarize, and analyze data in straightforward, easy-to-comprehend and visually appealing formats with 100 percent accuracy and data integrity.
Schedule
This is a part-time position for up to twenty (20) hours per week with the possibility of growth to a full time position in the future. We aim to hire the right candidate for a mid-May 2023 start date.
G+A works a 4-day full-time work week with standard hours between 9 am and 2 pm PT Monday through Thursday. The selected candidate must be available for 15-minute huddle meetings between 2:15 – 3:30 pm PT daily and at least two (2) hours per day between before 5 pm PT for other meetings and real-time communication with US-based staff.
