We are a leading UK accounting firm, with a vibrant international team in the UK (12) and Philippines (8). We’re looking for a talented Accounting Content Writer to join us full-time, working remotely. Your role will be crucial in creating informative and engaging content that educates and empowers our clients—small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across the UK.

About You:
Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Writing Skills: Exceptional command of British English, with a proven track record of crafting compelling articles, blog posts, and marketing materials for a UK audience.

Key Qualities We’re Looking For:
Industry Experience: Proven experience writing content for the financial services industry, ideally targeting UK-based SMBs.
SEO Expertise: Proficient in keyword research and SEO optimisation for the UK market, with a focus on terms relevant to UK SMEs.
AI Writing Tools: Experience using advanced AI writing tools (e.g., OpenAI GPT-3/GPT-4, Jasper, ) to enhance content creation.
Competitor Analysis: Ability to perform in-depth competitor analysis using tools like SpyFu, SimilarWeb, and Ahrefs.
Communication Skills: Excellent grammar, persuasive writing, and editing skills in British English.
Adaptability: Ability to keep up with evolving UK tax regulations and accounting practices, especially those affecting SMEs.
Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational abilities.
Professionalism and Creativity: Maintains a professional work ethic while injecting creativity into content.
Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative environment and works well with a team.
Policy Adherence: Complies with company policies and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Research and write high-quality accounting content for online publication and marketing materials, focusing on the needs of UK SMEs. Topics include annual accounts, tax return services, bookkeeping, VAT return filing, and payroll management.
SEO Optimisation: Conduct keyword research and optimise content for search engines to improve organic search rankings relevant to UK SMEs.
Competitor Analysis: Perform in-depth competitor analysis to refine content strategies and stay ahead in the market.
Social Media: Develop engaging social media content to promote our accounting services and educate UK business owners on relevant financial topics.
Blog Posts and Articles: Write informative blog posts and articles addressing common accounting challenges for UK SMEs, including personal and company tax considerations.
Newsletters: Create clear, concise content for client newsletters, making complex financial information accessible to UK business owners.
Website Management: Oversee the content on our website, ensuring it provides valuable information for UK SMEs.
Content Marketing: Generate strategic content marketing ideas to reach new audiences of UK SMEs.
Brainstorming: Pitch compelling content concepts related to accounting, finance, UK tax, and their impact on SMEs, focusing on our core services: annual accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll.
