Job Description:
As the Accounting Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management and accounting functions of our organization. We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven professional with a strong background in accounting and a deep understanding of the real estate and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and lead the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
– Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
– Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
– Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants for the timely completion of audits and tax filings.
– Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to support business growth.
– Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
– Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
– Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to the executive team for strategic decision-making.
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
– Proven experience in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
– Previous experience in the real estate or construction industry is highly preferred.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
– Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
