Job Description

Peak Plans LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and US Taxation regulations, and managing financial reporting. This position requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in accounting, auditing, and taxation. The ideal candidate should also possess exceptional analytical skills and expertise in financial software such as Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
Oversee and manage all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure the company’s financial operations are compliant with GAAP and US Taxation regulations.

Auditing and Compliance:
Conduct regular financial audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Work with external auditors to facilitate annual financial audits.

Taxation:
Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including federal, state, and local tax filings.
Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Accounting Software Expertise:
Utilize expertise in Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and internal controls.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
Generate financial analysis reports for decision-making purposes.

Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.

Financial Strategy:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support business goals and growth.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and US Taxation regulations.
Proven auditing experience, preferably in a managerial role.
Expertise in financial software, including Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
