Position Overview:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our accounting team in the Philippines. You will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and helping us maintain our unique and enjoyable company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 accountants, both locally and internationally.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Manage financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
Facilitate the smooth transition of financial operations to our new office in the Philippines, while maintaining consistency with our co-working, co-living, and fun lifestyle values.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Familiarity with international accounting standards and experience working in multiple locations is a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
