About Us:
We are a US-based bookkeeping and accounting firm that champions efficiency, precision, and strategic insight across every industry. This role would be the daily operations expert to answer team questions, onboard new clients, and generally handle the planning portion of most engagements.
The Role:
As an integral part of our accounting team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, contribute to financial cleanup efforts, and enhance our accounting practices. The core function of this role is to work with the partners and team members to perform detailed monthly bookkeeping review as well as myriad ad-hoc tasks to ensure that work gets done.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct in-depth reviews of financial records and bookkeeping practices to guarantee accuracy and compliance with the highest standards.
-Undertake financial cleanup activities to address discrepancies and optimize accounting processes for efficiency.
-Collaborate with team members to share insights and enhance overall financial strategies.
-Create, document, and implement standard operating processes for clients, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to managing their accounts.
-Review the work of other teams within the organization, providing guidance and feedback to uphold our high standards of accuracy and reliability.
-Manage numerous concurrent deadlines with a strategic approach, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality of work.
-Embrace a hands-on approach to problem-solving, delving into the details of accounting challenges to identify and implement effective solutions.
-Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively, ensuring team members and clients are fully informed and engaged.
Ideal Candidate:
-CPA or equivalent certification, underpinned by a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
-Demonstrated experience in financial cleanup, process documentation, and quality control.
-Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable financial information.
-Advanced technological proficiency, eager to learn and integrate new accounting software and systems.
-Curious and inquisitive mindset, unafraid to ask questions and explore innovative solutions.
-Outstanding English communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
-Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, embodying mutual support and cooperation.
