Accounting Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will receive training from and report directly to the company’s Controller, while closely collaborating with our Accounting department. This position’s primary responsibilities will include performing various data entry and validation tasks, with a focus on Accounts Payable (A/P) and miscellaneous transaction processing. As this position becomes more familiar with our processes and systems, there are numerous opportunities for this position to take on additional tasks and responsibilities within our company.

Given the nature of our operations, this role holds a pivotal position in providing real-time visibility into the previous day’s performance. Working through the night, this position’s contributions will ensure the company’s access to important data and financial insights at the onset of each shift. Our environment is characterized by its fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative nature, and we are dedicated to successfully integrating this position as a valued member of our team.

SCHEDULE
1. Training Phase: The initial training sessions are scheduled to occur within standard business operating hours, from 9am to 5pm Pacific Time (12am to 8am Philippine Standard Time).
2. Standard Schedule: Following the training phase, the position will transition to working during off-business hours, specifically weekdays from 7pm to 3am Pacific Time (10am to 6pm Philippine Standard Time).

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or finance department.
2. Technology: Proficiency in using ERP accounting systems (experience with SQL-based ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, Sage, JD Edwards, CMIC, Vista by Viewpoint or similar platforms preferred). Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.

1. Organizational Skills: Organized work approach with the ability to support the
needs of multiple projects.
2. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and data
review and validation.
3. Independence: Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
4. Teamwork: Natural ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships.
