We are seeking a Virtual Assistant with strong accounting skills to support the team remotely. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various administrative tasks while also assisting with basic accounting duties. As a Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for managing schedules, handling emails, conducting basic bookkeeping tasks, and providing general administrative support.
Job Description:
· Performs administrative tasks associated with efficient and effective management of the client’s accounts, email, and calendar.
· Understand the basics of accounting and have computer skills, MS Excel, spreadsheet, or QuickBooks accounting software.
· Has proven experience in invoicing, payroll functions & medical insurance billing.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to financial transactions.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
· Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision
· Must be able to multi-task and flexible as other tasks may be assigned.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Virtual assistant with accounting skills is REQUIRED.
· Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office suite.
· Experience in handling medical insurance billing is a HUGE PLUS.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and terminologies.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
· Familiarity with virtual communication tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
· Ability to work independently and remotely, while also being a supportive team player.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Laptop or desktop that is at least I5, or I5 equivalent and above.
· Strong internet connection with backup internet available.
· Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
