Job Summary:
We are a property management company that expertly handles all hybrids of residential property management,
including long-term, medium-term, short-term, and vacation rental properties. We are seeking an experienced
Property Management Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial
accounting, reporting, and contractual management for our portfolio of properties. You will work closely with the
property management team and senior management to ensure timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting
for all areas within our property management company.

Requirements:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field required
? Five years of property management experience
? Five years of professional accounting in the real estate industry.
? Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
? Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary for supporting management and property owners.
? Organization and an eye for detail are critical to success in this position.
? Accounting certifications, such as CPA or CMA, are preferred.
? Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, research and resolution skills, and attention to detail
? Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
? Ability to work well under pressure, establish priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
? Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment emphasizing accuracy
and timeliness.
? Must be resourceful and able to find solutions when issues arise

Software Requirements: (In-Depth Knowledge Required)
? Yardi – Our accounting software where all monies flow in and out of.
? Asana – Our task management system we use to run all aspects of our business and communicate with our
team and owner regarding all company-related projects, owners, tenants, and operating procedures
? Google Workspace (Gmail, Advanced Google Sheets) – Is aligned with our Asana system to work on projects,
communicate with the Resale team, and store pertinent information
? Hostfully – This is our vacation platform for all of our Medium-term, Short-term, Vacation, and Long-term rentals.
Used for marketing, communications with guests, and account reporting
? Vintory – Our main CRM grows the number of doors we manage, communicates with owners, tenants and is used
for target marketing
? Stripe – Our payment processing system for all of our Medium-term, Short-term, and Vacation rentals.
? Transaction Desk – The system we use to house and send out all legal documents for owners and tenants.

Responsibilities:
? Manage cash flow and initiate journal entries as needed.
? Analyze expenses and prepare accruals based on budget.
? Review accounts payable activity and cash balances and select invoices for payment.
? Assist in budget preparation and update the profit and loss statements monthly
? Review key financial data in legal documents including management agreements, leases, tax documents, etc.
for proper set-up in accounting software, collaborate with the property management team to adjust as necessary.
? Participate in the preparation & maintenance of written policies & procedures for functions/duties performed
? Assist field staff with main maintenance requests, follow-up, and completion through payment processing
? Contract from set up to close for the following contracts: PMA, ER, Rental Applications, Lease Files through
the use of Transaction Desk and our broker platform (Sapriva)
? Use of CRM for various communication with owners and tenants as needed
? Prepare monthly financial reports, invoices for vendor items, process owner payouts in accordance with the owner
requirements and deadlines.
? Collaborate with the property management team to analyze tenant/owner ledgers, research, and resolve
questions.
? Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis
? Reconcile intercompany accounts and process bill backs
? Reconciling the statements for all owners (Weekly)
? Collaborate with the property management team to analyze tenant/owner ledgers, research, and resolve
questions.
? Assist in year-end tax preparation and owner statement generation.
? Review aged AP and submit open AP reports
? Review AR and submit AR reports to the field
? Calculate and book monthly management fees
? Calculate and book TPT tax payments
? Calculate/ Process HOA violations/ fines. Charge tenants as needed
? Tenants from set up to close (Yardi) including follow-up on completion with WUSA Corporate
? Prepare an accounting of the tenant’s security deposit upon move-out.
? Process tenant notices to vacate.
? Owner from set up to close(Yardi) including follow up on completion with WUSA Corporate
? New Vendors from set up to close(Yardi) including follow up on completion with WUSA Corporate
? Paying our vendors in a timely manner (As they come in)
? Ensure all documentation is stored and organized on shared company drives or as outlined by senior
management.
? Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
? Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and property management in a timely manner while
providing exceptional customer service
? Research problems as required
Working Conditions / Location:
? US Work Hours, Flexibility on work shift times, hours, and days of the week/weekend.
? Home Based, Must have IT Equipment to perform the role, at least 8GB RAM.
? Must have a strong and stable internet connection, not lower than 5mpbs download and upload speed.
? Have a full backup plan on equipment and internet/power.

Employment Type: Full Time, 40-Hour Work Week.

Job Compensation: Base Hourly Rate + Bonus Opportunities
