Profitable Tradie is a NZ based Business Coaching company with an international reputation for making a difference in the lives of the owners of plumbing, electrical and similar construction-based service businesses across New Zealand, Australia, and North America.

We help business owners grow their business with kick ass sales & marketing, great systems, team, and financial strategies to get results fast.

We’re a team of A+ players who love to get stuff done and learn the latest stuff (learning is an A1 priority team for success in our business).

You’ll take on a key role in the business and it will be your responsibility to ensure that all financial aspects of the business run smoothly.

Your tasks will involve:

• Running our financials through Xero (GST, invoicing, payables & receivables, daily reconciliation, EOM accounts, etc.)
• Managing client payments – we have clients all over the world and deal in multiple currencies & have multiple payment platforms
• Track and report on monthly business KPIs
• Assisting with credit control & debt recovery
• Assisting with cashflow management – transferring funds between accounts
• Assisting with payroll & contractor payments
• Updating our CRM (client payments)

The key skills and attitudes you need to be successful:
? Be energetic, vibrant and make others laugh and smile.
? Be a competent computer user.
? You’ll be an “integrator” who takes ownership to keep things running smoothly. It’s all go here.
? A sound understanding of how business accounts work (invoicing, cash flow management accounts receivable and payable). XERO experience is a help. Being a quick learner is a must. And of course, you’ll be honest????
? A positive outlook on life and be excited about improving your own and other peoples’ lives along with a true enthusiasm for learning.
? The ability to plan, make decisions and act using your own initiative.
? Accuracy with numbers and extreme attention to detail so tasks are completed to a high standard.
? Be systematic & consistent approach to your work.
? Be able to prioritise tasks and handle multiple demands on your time.
