Job Description

About the role:
The Accounts and Management Support Specialist will oversee all accounting activities within the company, including accounts payable/receivables and generating quotations in collaboration with the operational team. They will manage financial reporting from existing company accounting systems, providing weekly reports to management (P&L, Account statement, Balance Sheets, AP/AR statements). Additionally, they may assist in analysis and reporting on project activities and occasionally support business management with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Audit existing financial and accounting systems, then set up company financial and accounts systems using Xero software, including establishing financial and accounting reports and managing payroll.
– Assist in setting up project tracking and reporting systems to monitor and report on project costings, effort, and margins.
– Support business management with administrative activities, such as flight bookings and logistics organization for management and operational teams, responding to external queries, generating, issuing, and tracking work quotations with clients, and planning, attending, and following up on management meetings both internally and externally.

Essential Qualifications:
Accounting and Finance Degree

Desirable Qualifications:
– CPA
– Project Management Reporting
– Business Development

Work Experience and Skills:

Essential Experience:
Proficiency in Xero and other accounting and financial management systems is essential

Desirable Experience:
2+ years of work experience for financial and budgetary reporting

Personal Qualities and Behavioural Traits:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
– Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
– Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Documents & Sheets and other related software

Relationships:
This role will report directly to the managing director and provide administrative support to operational teams. Additionally, it will involve client-facing responsibilities, requiring excellent business acumen.

Hours: Initially 3 days per week with high potential to convert to 5 days per week
Location: Remote
Performance review period: Every three months
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php35,000.00 – Php38,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
