Position: Accounts Payable
Location: REMOTE – Phoenix, Arizona daytime hours 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable with experience in multifamily accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and participating in all aspects of the company’s accounting functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process invoices and verify g/l account coding.
• Process check payments.
• Ensure credits are received, coded correctly, and processed.
• Maintain historical records by entering data into the system.
• Verify sales tax calculation for accuracy.
• Prepare lender draws.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as requested.
ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Good understanding of different sales tax authorities
• Self-starter
• Works effectively with others to achieve objectives, to solve problems and to bring about win-win situations.
• An innate awareness and desire to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function and work in a fast-paced and, at times, high-stress environment.
• Student Housing or property management accounting experience a must.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office and Google.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience required.
• Entrata proficiency is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Multifamily Accounting EXPERIENCE with accounts payable
• Entrata Software recommended
• Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS EXCEL and familiarity with relevant computer software
Compensation and Benefits:
• $12-$15/hr US Base Salary
• All Major Holidays off
• 2 Weeks PTO
