As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable & Receivables Expert to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice verification, data entry, and timely processing of payments.
Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
Monitor and analyse aged receivables, proactively taking steps to minimise outstanding balances.
Prepare financial reports and statements related to accounts payable and receivables for management review.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights into financial trends and projections.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, implementing changes as necessary to ensure compliance and optimise processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivables, preferably within the real estate industry.
Proficiency in accounting software Xero and Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in property management software PropertyMe.
Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic environment.
